A son. A brother. A soldier. A friend.
Kevin Remembered
A look at Kevin’s life, the family and friends who love him, his passion for cars, and the service that inspired Kevin’s Krooze.
Why Kevin’s Krooze
Born From Love and Remembrance
Kevin’s Krooze started as a way to honor the service of our son, SPC Kevin J. Graham. He was serving with the 5/2 Stryker Brigade, 1-17 Infantry Division, in Afghanistan when he was killed on September 26, 2009, near Kandahar Airfield.
Because of Kevin’s passion for old cars, we created a car show to honor fallen soldiers while supporting wounded warriors and their families. The Krooze became a gathering built around remembrance, community, cars, and service.

The life behind the Krooze
Family, Cars, and Service
The things Kevin loved and the path that shaped the man so many people remember.

About Kevin
Kevin was interested in anything connected to the military from a young age. He and a friend would dress in fatigues and pretend they were defending the neighborhood. Years later, they found themselves together again in uniform at Fort Benning.

Kevin’s Family
Kevin was the youngest of the Graham boys, born and raised in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin with his older brothers Danny Jr., Sean, and Scott. The family shared a love for snowmobiles, four-wheelers, street rods, and muscle cars.

Kevin’s Military Years
Kevin enlisted in July 2007 and trained with Foxtrot Company at Fort Benning as an infantry mortarman. After graduating on November 16, 2007, he continued training at Fort Lewis and was selected as a Stryker driver.
