DSP Customs Legal & Policy Information
Clear terms for custom creative work.
Every custom project created through Don Scott Productions is approached with honesty, creativity, and respect for each client’s story.
These policies help define project expectations, creative rights, media quality, privacy, usage, and acknowledgment before custom work begins.

Our Commitment
Professional quality, clear communication, and respect for the story.
The policies below help ensure each custom song, video, or creative media project maintains professional quality, ethical integrity, and clear communication between DSP Customs and each client.
Media Quality & AI Imagery Disclaimer
All photos and video clips should be clear, well-lit, and submitted in their highest available resolution. Blurry, dark, or low-resolution images may reduce visual clarity in the finished project.
AI-generated imagery may be used when requested or when needed for artistic enhancement. These visuals are interpretive representations and are not guaranteed to be 100 percent accurate to real-life appearances or locations.
By submitting media to DSP Customs, you acknowledge that final creative results may vary based on source materials, creative direction, and available technology.
Creative Rights & Refusal Policy
Don Scott Productions reserves the right to respectfully decline any project request that conflicts with DSP creative values, moral standards, or mission.
Projects promoting violence, explicit content, unlawful activity, hateful content, or themes inconsistent with DSP’s mission may not be accepted.
If a project is declined before creative work begins, any deposit or payment received for that declined project will be refunded in full.
Terms & Conditions
By commissioning custom work through DSP Customs, you agree that all creative material, including lyrics, music, video, recordings, graphics, and project files, remains the property of Don Scott Productions / True Grit Publishing (BMI) unless otherwise licensed in writing.
Clients receive a personalized, non-exclusive license to use their finished work for personal enjoyment, private sharing, or gift purposes unless a separate commercial license is agreed to in writing.
Unless privacy is requested in writing, completed projects may be featured on DSP promotional platforms, including websites and social media, as part of the DSP portfolio.
Deposits are non-refundable once creative work has begun.
